Using Our Website

The information on this website is provided for general guidance about our flooring products and services. While we aim to ensure all information is accurate, specifications, pricing and availability may change.

Images and samples shown on the website are for illustration purposes only and may not represent exact colour, shade or texture.

Orders

An order is confirmed once a quotation has been accepted and the required deposit has been paid.

Measurements taken during surveys are used to calculate material quantities and installation requirements. Minor variations may occur due to installation tolerances.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary.

Pricing

All prices provided in quotations include the supply of flooring materials and installation services unless otherwise stated.

Additional costs may apply if unexpected issues arise during installation, including subfloor preparation or structural conditions.

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure an order and allow materials to be ordered.

  • Orders up to £350 — £50 deposit
  • Orders £350 to £700 — £75 deposit
  • Orders £700 to £1,000 — £100 deposit

Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered, cut or prepared.

Payment Plans

Simple Pay Carpets may offer staged payment plans which allow customers to spread the cost of flooring before installation.

  • Payments are made through agreed instalments.
  • Payments are collected automatically using card authority.
  • No interest is charged.
  • The balance may be settled early at any time.

This staged payment structure is a payment arrangement for goods and services and is not a loan, finance agreement or regulated credit product.

Full details are outlined in the Staged Payment Supply & Installation Agreement.

Failed Payments

If an instalment payment fails, we may attempt to collect the payment again.

If multiple attempts fail, an administration fee may be applied and we will contact the customer to resolve the issue.

Installation

Installation dates are arranged once the deposit has been received and materials are ready.

The customer must ensure:

  • Clear and safe access to the property
  • Rooms are cleared unless otherwise agreed
  • A suitable working environment for installers

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Furniture removal
  • Door trimming
  • Subfloor preparation

Access and Preparation

If installers attend the property and the installation cannot proceed because the property is not prepared or access is not available, we may charge the full fitting cost and rescheduling fees.

Product Variations

Carpet, laminate and vinyl products may vary slightly in colour, shade or texture due to manufacturing batches.

These variations are considered normal within the flooring industry and do not constitute defects.

Subfloor Conditions

Existing flooring removal may reveal subfloor issues such as uneven surfaces or structural problems.

Additional preparation work may be required and may incur additional charges.

Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of Simple Pay Carpets Ltd until the total contract price has been paid in full.

Risk transfers to the customer once installation has been completed.

Cancellation

If the agreement is made in the customer’s home, a 14-day cooling-off period may apply under UK consumer law.

This right may be waived if the customer requests early commencement of work or if materials have already been ordered or cut.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the total contract price of the goods and services supplied.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control including supply chain disruptions, illness, severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
